PI GE, born in 1995, graduated from the China Academy of Art in 2022. As a contemporary Chinese artist known for her whimsical and healing style, Pi Ge’s art springs from a desire to confront all emotions honestly, seeking a return to inner peace.

She breaks apart wood plastic clay, mixes it with glue, and applies it to the canvas, giving the flat painting a textured, sculptural feel.

“Art is my jar of candies and my medicine chest, bringing peace to my heart,” she shared in an interview.
